Terms and Conditions

1. Experiences/walks can only be undertaken by pre-booking before the date you wish to partake. Experiences/walks will not be run if no bookings are taken. Swansea Bay Spiritual Walking Company cannot be held responsible for experiences/walks not taking place if no bookings are undertaken.

2. The safety and wellbeing of the consumer partaking in an experience/walk is solely the responsibility of the consumer themselves. Swansea Bay Spiritual walking Company cannot be held responsible for damage/injury to persons partaking in experiences/walks howsoever caused unless due to gross negligence of the walk leader in not providing full health and safety and/or risk assessment information before an experience/walk is undertaken.

3. Personal belongings brought on experiences/walks are the sole responsibility of the owner and Swansea Bay Spiritual Walking Company cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to personal property howsoever caused.

4. Dogs are most welcome on experiences/walks, unless previously told it is a danger/hazard to do so, but remain the sole responsibility of the owner and Swansea Bay Spiritual walking Company cannot be held responsible for any damage/injury caused to dogs howsoever caused.

5. Children are most welcome on experiences/walks, unless previously told it is a danger/hazard to do so, but remain the sole responsibility of the parent/guardian charged with looking after them. It is imperative that children are made aware of any dangers/hazards that may be encountered and it is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to ensure the child is aware of such information after it has been relayed to all concerned by the walk leader. Swansea Bay Spiritual Walking Company cannot be held responsible for any damage/injury caused to children howsoever caused unless due to gross negligence of the walk leader in not providing full health and safety and/or risk assessment information before an experience/walk is undertaken. 

6. Payment for experiences/walks can only be made by cash or cheque at present (Cheques to be made payable to Swansea Bay Spiritual Walking Company). The payment is due in full before an experience/walk is undertaken (Up to the point at which the experience/walk is due to commence) unless an agreement in writing has been established between Swansea Bay Spiritual Walking Company and the payee beforehand. If no such agreement has been established then Swansea Bay Spiritual Walking Company has the right to refuse the consumer the right to partake in the experience/walk.

7. Refunds or part refunds will be considered on an individual basis according to circumstance and Swansea Bay Spiritual Walking Company has the right to refuse a refund if the circumstances are deemed not to be adequate enough to qualify. Examples of adequate qualifying circumstances include hospital/medical appointments’, injuries sustained beforehand which prevent the consumer from taking part and being called to jury service. All circumstances would also require written evidence to qualify for such refunds or part refunds.

8. Swansea Bay Spiritual Walking Company has the right to refuse any person from partaking in an experience/walk if it is felt the consumer would be a danger to themselves or others if they took part in the experience/walk on offer at any given time.

9. Any holistic therapies undertaken by the consumer is at their own risk and it is not compulsory for a consumer to take part in such activities if they wish not to. The consumer has the choice whether to take part in such activities and will be given full guidance in what to possibly expect during such activities by the walk/experience leader to be able to make an informed choice as to whether to take part or not. Because holistic therapies are not an exact science Swansea Bay Spiritual Walking Company cannot be held responsible for any feelings of disappointment or inadequacy if such therapies are not to the consumers expectations.
